Good brush
This looks like a powder brush but is perfect for buffing in foundation without leaving a cakey finish that you sometimes get with a dense brush.

Buffing brush
This brush does have lovely soft bristles but it's not firm enough as a buffing brush for me, I would say it's better suited for smoothing or even as a blusher brush
